This piece was mainly to explore perspective, area development, blue sky planning, as well as gouache brushes as a technique for digital concept ideation. It features Millenia Star Hotel, based in a fictional Mediterranean seaside town. The entire town and its culture circulate around a folk tale about a village that was destroyed by pirates. The sole survivor, a young women grieving over her lost child in the conflict, wished to the star gods for her village to thrive. She was willing to sacrifice her life, and in return the gods turned her into a god and brought her child back to life as a magical golden bird. Together, they rebuilt with the community with the gods help, creating a culture based on a galaxy motif and a strong belief in hope, courage, and motivation. It features a main hotel, spa, shops, quick service dining, fine dining, walkthrough experience, water park, and stores. The main attraction is the nightly watershed, which combines tech and live performances to tell the story of the woman who believed her village could thrive once again.
